Head Masters Hair Design COVID Opening Guidelines

We are so excited to be greeting clients back into the Salon from July 6th. we have been working hard behind the scenes to be fully prepared for all the necessary government guidelines to keep clients and staff safe.

Our Team will now be working in shifts, including longer working hours to minimise the number of staff/clients in the Salon at any one time.

We will have in place a temporary service menu to give express appointments where appropriate. Please note that the use of hand dryers is permitted.

For our vulnerable /shielding clients and those who require parent/carer/guardian, we are looking into setting aside a ‘quieter time’ to be able to offer minimum contact with other clients. (please ask for details if appropriate).

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer ‘Walk in Appointments’, due to government guidelines.

We respectfully remind clients that at this time we are working to a different time schedule and to ensure that we are able to complete our cleaning routines etc., clients arrive and wait outside for their appointments, we are unable to guarantee appointments if clients have arrived late.

• Please wait outside to be met : bringing only the most essential items with you, this includes phone/payment card/drink/medication. unfortunately we are unable to accommodate coats, extra shopping bags, please travel light.
• All guests will have their temperature zapped, hand sanitising and will be asked to wear a face mask.(masks will be available).
• Our Team will be wearing PPE, face mask and visor, plastic apron and gloves and staff will have their temperature taken throughout the day.
• Clients PPE will be , plastic gowns, plastic capes, disposable towels, paper cups. Unfortunately at this time no magazines will be available.
• Client movement will be kept to a minimum, if you wish to purchase products, your stylists will assist you. Client payments will be taken by bringing the card reader to the client. Clients who wish to give their stylist a tip, an envelope will be provided on the working station for this purpose or can be added to the card payment.
• There will be a surcharge on each appointment to contribute towards the necessary PPE and increased COVID hygiene measures, as per the strict government guidelines. At this time an amount of £5.00 will be added at time of payment.
• Preferred payment method will be by card, contactless if possible. Cash payment will still be accepted.
• Please note that only Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs will be allowed into the Salon at this time.
• Congratulations to all staff members who have recently completed their Barbicide COVID-19 Certification.

If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms prior to your booked appointment or anybody you have contact with shows symptoms, please get medical advice on testing and we will reschedule your appointment.

As a small business these temporary changes to our usual service menu and pricing structure are necessary to ensure our continued survival in these unprecedented times.
